The North Shore MedVents always welcomes new recruits.  As a Medvent in the Scouts Canada Medical Venturer/Rover Program, you will meet once a week for first aid training and practice. These trainings give both practical skills for first aid and some insight into different careers as a first responder. Training is supplemented with certification courses through the Canadian Red Cross Society as well as other institutions. You will also get the opportunity to participate as event medical staff at different events through the program to build your experience. Medvents have gone on to become paramedics, firefighters, lifeguards, ski patrollers and more!
