Northridge
What is Northridge?
'Northridge' is a supernatural thriller web series made by a group of young adults and youth in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. The series follows a group of teenagers as they navigate the mysterious past of their hometown. The story begins when friends Jordan, Josh, Lexie, Riley, and David stumble upon a mysterious site during a camping trip, unwittingly triggering a series of events that uncover the town's dark history.
Blending coming-of-age themes with supernatural elements, the series is a blend of Stranger Things, Gravity Falls, and Stand By Me.
'Northridge' is to be filmed throughout 2025, with a soundtrack being created by local youth bands to accompany the project.
