This app is a compass, navigation, map, and sensor utility application. We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the data necessary for the app to function.

NorthMark Compass may use the following device data:

Location Data:
Used to show your current position, coordinates, map location, target direction, distance, and navigation-related features.

Sensor Data:
Used for compass direction, orientation, magnetic field, level tool, and related sensor features.

Camera Access:
Used only for AR compass features. Camera images are not uploaded or stored by us.

Internet Access:
Used to load map tiles, ads, and related online services.

Advertising

NorthMark Compass may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect data according to Google’s own privacy policies.

In-App Purchases

The app may offer an in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play.

Map Data

The app uses map services based on OpenStreetMap and OpenTopoMap.

Offline Cache

Previously viewed map areas may be stored locally on your device cache. The app does not bulk download maps or download full countries/cities for offline use.
