While our mission focuses on supporting and empowering women, some of the most meaningful feedback we’ve received over the years highlighted the need to also support the men in the lives of the women we serve. Time and again, we heard how important mental health awareness for men is within our rural communities.

In response, we took a new step forward. In November 2025, Northern Rural Chicks proudly planned and hosted our very first Boots & Bling Event, created to support men’s mental health in a way that felt welcoming and approachable.

Through this event, we were thrilled to raise funds and share proceeds from our silent auction with Men’s Shed North Peace—an incredible local organization dedicated to supporting men’s mental well-being. We are truly grateful to have such a meaningful resource in our community and are proud to support the important work they do.

By listening, adapting, and responding to community needs, Northern Rural Chicks continues to grow its impact—supporting not just women, but the families and communities that surround them.
