The Northern Youth Choir is run by a team of experienced volunteers that are passionate about singing and who have worked with schools and voluntary youth organisations for many years.

Sam Jordan
Sam Jordan
Sam is the choir leader for NYC. He is a peripatetic music teacher in the Sunderland area and has been leading children and adult choirs since 2011. As well as leading the choir, Sam also arranges and composes the music that we sing.
Helen Cramman
Helen Cramman
Helen helped form NYC back in 2013 and has been volunteering with youth organisations for more than 10 years. As well as supporting NYC, Helen is also a Beaver Leader.
Dorothy Muckles
Dorothy Muckles
Dorothy helped form NYC back in 2013 and has been part of the choir ever since. As well as NYC, Dorothy has also supported a wide range of voluntary organisations over many years.
