About our Event

Phil Oddo and Mike Suke, two devoted Hot Wheels aficionados from southern New Hampshire had the idea of starting a yearly weekend-long event to bring die-cast car collectors together from all over. The North East Diecast Bash was then born. Zach Dangel, another fervent collector from the Boston area stepped up his role in 2023 to help lead the Bash's marketing, communications, and registration duties as well as general event leadership roles.

The inaugural North East Diecast Bash 2022 was held in West Springfield, MA. Over 200 people walked through the doors throughout the three-day event. We were lucky to partner with over 10 Hot Wheels clubs, organizations, and customizers to collectively make this event happen! In 2023, we moved the event to the Courtyard Marriott in Waterbury, CT where we were able to accommodate more ticket holders and work with over 15 partner clubs and organizations. We are excited to continue in 2024.

Most notably, we were lucky to raise over $8,000 total through our Charity Auctions in our first two years. We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the less fortunate.
