Daniel Steffen - Head Coach

Coach Steffen is in his 6th year coaching at Northbrook. Previously,  he coached for four years in Spring ISD.  Coach Steffen is a proud graduate of Sam Houston State University and teaches U.S. History. 

Mission Statement: "If you want the rainbow, you have to deal with the rain." One must go through struggles, competition, heartache, and downfalls in order to come out stronger and better as a person and player.

Matt Burger - Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Burger is in his 3rd year coaching at Northbrook.  In the baseball program, Coach Burger was the JV Head Coach and assists with the outfielders.  Aside from baseball Coach Burger is the wide receivers coach for the Northbrook football program and assists with JV football as well.  Houston born with East Texas ties, Coach Burger previously coached baseball and basketball at Brookeland ISD, where he led the baseball program to their first playoff appearance in school history.  Coach Burger is a graduate of Texas A&M and got the opportunity to experience D1 football first hand while attending.  He loves being out on the field and sharing past experience and knowledge with players to help them become better men.

Lance Bush - Sophomore Head Coach

Coach Bush is in his 5th year as a part of the baseball coaching staff this year, and is in his 6th year coaching at Northbrook High School. Coach Bush also coaches football and basketball, and works with the Life Skills students on campus.
