The North Alabama Bass Club was established in 1971. Although originally formed in Athens, the club relocated to Huntsville, later in 1971. For over 50 years, NABC has been filling a position in our fishing community providing friendly fishing competition without being affiliated with any major bass fishing organization. The club welcomes both boaters and non-boaters that are at least 18 years old. The tournaments are draw tournaments where boaters and non-boaters are paired at a meeting prior to the monthly fish-off (held the second Saturday of each month). The paired member’s fish as a team - the combined weight of the team determines placement - and individual weights are recorded for end-of-year awards and honors. For additional information, email Jonathan Craig (President) or John Byrd (Secretary/Treasurer).
