Norte Vista Vocal Ensemble, also known as Norte Vista's Advanced Mixed Choir, is a honors ensemble at Norte Vista High School. This group is comprised of male and female students, 10th-12th grade, who have successfully passed Beginning Choir and gone through an audition process. 

Students continue to develop the basics of good vocal production, music theory and sight-singing while performing two, three and four part harmony repertoire from a variety of musical periods and styles. 

Our Vocal Ensemble has earned many awards including a Gold Rating, placing them in the top 10% of the United States. 

Concert Choir is an intermediate ensemble comprised of students who have successfully completed Beginning Choir and have shown interest in their vocal training. This is a new vocal group to Norte Vista High School, providing a choral pathway from beginning to intermediate, and eventually to our advanced groups. 

The Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a student led, 7-member group, new to the Norte Vista Choral Program. This elite group of students rehearses outside of class time to prepare and perfect their music to be presented to the Riverside Community. This group is schedule to perform at senior community centers, special events, and schools in the area.
