In my recognition, Japanese traditional art cut out a part of nature and reconstruct it in 3D/multilayered structure. The typical example of 3D reconstruction of nature is the Japanese gardens (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_rock_garden). Tokonoma and the contents of it are the example of multilayered reconstruction. Tokonoma may consist of kakeziku, light, ikebana or the other objects putting on the front. Among these components, kakeziku is the background of the landscape, and the flowers or the other objects are the something which exist closer area to the observing people.

The reason I tried to produce some of these works now is the social disaster brought by COVID-19. Many people cannot go out, cannot see family and friends, cannot go on one's business. I and my family gave up a part of our summer trip, too. Then, one idea happened on my mind. We can cut out the nature of where we wanted to visit and can create some artwork following Japanese traditional art strategy; and can take my family to the imaginary trip by using hologram, even with the family member who had already passed away.
