Privacy Policy — MochiMinder

MochiMinder is a task and reminder application provided by Noreqivo Studio. This policy explains how the application handles information.

1. Information stored on your device
MochiMinder stores your tasks, descriptions, dates, reminder times, categories, completion history, recurring schedules, personal templates, deleted tasks awaiting permanent deletion, and application preferences locally on your device.
This information is used to provide task management, reminders, widgets, recurring tasks, and character features. Task suggestions are generated locally.
The application does not require a MochiMinder account and does not send your task content to Noreqivo Studio servers. It does not include advertising or third-party analytics services.
If you enter personal, health-related, or financial information in a task, that information is handled as local task content.
Trial verification and Google Play purchases involve separate online processing, described below.
2. Free Premium trial and device identifier
MochiMinder offers a seven-day Premium trial that begins when you choose to start it.
To check trial eligibility and prevent the trial from restarting after reinstallation or clearing application data, the application sends a SHA-256 hash derived from an Android device identifier and the application’s package name to our trial service.
This hash is a pseudonymous device identifier, not anonymous data. The original Android identifier is not sent to our server. The trial service does not receive your task contents, Google account email address, contacts, or location.
The application may check for an existing trial when it opens or resumes, including before you choose to start a trial. A status check alone does not start the trial. When you start a trial, our database stores the identifier hash and the trial’s start and expiry dates.
The trial service uses Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1. Information is transmitted over HTTPS. Cloudflare processes requests on our behalf and may process connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. IP addresses are used for request rate limiting but are not stored in our trial database. Our application server does not log request bodies.
Trial records are used to administer trial access and prevent repeated trials, not for advertising or profiling.
Internet access is required to start the trial, restore its status after reinstalling, and verify it after restarting your phone.
3. Premium purchases
Premium is offered through a one-time Google Play in-app purchase. It is not a subscription, and the free trial does not automatically charge you when it ends.
Google Play processes payments under its own terms and privacy practices. Noreqivo Studio does not receive your full payment card details or Google account password.
The application receives purchase information from Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase token, purchase status, and acknowledgement status. It uses this information to acknowledge purchases, unlock Premium, and restore eligible purchases.
Premium access status is stored locally on your device. The current version does not send purchase tokens or payment details to our Cloudflare trial service.
Purchase restoration requires access to the Google Play account used for the purchase. Google may retain transaction records under its own policies and applicable legal requirements.

4. Permissions and device features
Notifications: Used to display reminders. Task titles and descriptions may appear in notifications and widgets, including on the lock screen depending on your Android settings.
Alarms and reminders: Used to schedule reminders at your selected times.
Display over other apps: Optional permission used to display your selected animated character when a reminder remains unattended. This feature does not read or record other applications’ screens, content, or notifications.
Battery optimization exemption: Requested to help reminders and the optional character feature operate in the background. Granting this access does not provide access to additional personal information.
Foreground service: Used to operate the optional reminder character while a reminder remains active. Android displays a service notification while this feature runs.
Device restart: The application can restore reminder scheduling after your device restarts.
Motion sensor: While the application is active, accelerometer readings are used to detect a shake gesture that restores tilted menu icons. These readings are not stored as a motion history or transmitted to us.
Internet access: Used for trial verification and communication with Google Play for Premium purchases and restoration.
The application does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS messages, or call history.
You can manage permissions through Android settings and the application’s Permissions section.
5. Backups and file access
Backup and restore are initiated by you through Android’s file picker. The application accesses the backup file or destination you select; it does not request unrestricted access to your files.
Exported backups contain application data in a readable JSON file and are not encrypted by MochiMinder. Store and share them carefully.
Trial and purchase entitlements are not included in task backups. Restoring a task backup does not restart the trial or grant Premium access.
If you select a cloud storage provider or share a backup, that provider or recipient will handle the file under its own terms and privacy practices. MochiMinder does not automatically upload backups to our servers.
6. Service providers and support messages
Noreqivo Studio does not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Task content stored locally is not sent to our service providers unless you independently choose to share it, for example in a support email or exported backup.
Cloudflare provides the trial service infrastructure. Google Play provides purchase processing and restoration. Their processing is described in the relevant sections above.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request and resolve support issues. Email is processed through our email provider.
Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Retention and deletion
Local application data remains on your device until you delete it. Deleted tasks may remain in the application’s trash until permanently removed.
You can permanently remove tasks through the trash, or remove local application data using Android’s Clear storage function or by uninstalling the application.
Exported backup files are separate from application storage and remain in the location you selected until you delete them there. Restoring a backup can restore previously deleted information.
Server-side trial records remain after the trial expires and after you uninstall the application. We retain the identifier hash and trial dates while the trial service operates to prevent repeated trials. Clearing application storage or uninstalling does not delete these server records.
To request access to or deletion of information held by Noreqivo Studio, contact noreqivo.studio@gmail.com. Because trial records are not linked to your name or email address, we may need additional information to locate the relevant record and verify your request. Any applicable legal or security-related retention limitations will be explained when handling your request.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request its deletion, subject to those obligations.
Deleting local data or requesting deletion from Noreqivo Studio does not automatically delete records held independently by Google or other providers. Requests concerning those records should be directed to the relevant provider.
8. Security
The application uses Android’s application storage protections and HTTPS for communication with the trial service.
These protections do not extend to readable backup files you export or information visible in notifications and widgets. Protect your device and choose notification visibility settings appropriate to your needs.
No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. This policy page
This policy page is hosted on Google Sites. Accessing this website is subject to Google’s applicable privacy practices: https://policies.google.com/privacy
This website processing is separate from the application’s local task storage and its trial and purchase functions.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the application or its data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Request Data Deletion — MochiMinder
MochiMinder is provided by Noreqivo Studio.
To request deletion of data held by us:
Email noreqivo.studio@gmail.com.
Use the subject “MochiMinder Data Deletion Request”.
State whether you want us to delete your server-side trial record, support correspondence, or both.
Trial records contain a hashed device identifier and trial start/end dates. They are not linked to your email address, so we may need additional information to identify your record and verify your request. Do not send passwords or payment card information.
Once your request is verified, we will delete the identified trial record and requested support correspondence, unless retention is legally required. If any information must be retained, we will explain the reason and applicable retention period in our response. We do not apply an additional retention period to deleted trial records in our active database.
Tasks and preferences are stored on your device. To delete them, use Android Settings → Apps → MochiMinder → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Delete exported backup files separately from their saved location.
Uninstalling does not automatically delete server-side trial records. Google Play purchase records are managed by Google and are not deleted by this request.
