#LoveBIGlikeDREW

Drew would want for us to LOVE BIG as he did! Here are 4 things Drew ALWAYS DID and he changed so many people's lives by doing them, we hope to spread more BIG love with all of you...

This means to try something you have always wanted to do or eat.  You might discover a new hidden talent or favorite flavor of ice cream! Drew would always try things, he would watch people do something and then just try and do it.  He would take samples of ice cream and eat it, he would take a lick, bite, whatever at least once and then he usually fell in love with it and had yet another thing he loved!

Drew treated everyone like they were his new best friend because you know what, they were! He loved to connect with people and he truly genuinely did.  You can never have too many best friends?!!! But you have to be a TRUE friend, the people that you make connections with, talk with, you need to LISTEN to them, be in that moment with them. Drew always did, then he would run away really fast...but he always came back to you and was that true friend.

Drew would remember the shirt you were wearing the first time he saw you or that when we ran into you at the grocery store and you were picking up noodles for spaghetti BUT then the next time he saw you he would ask how was your spaghetti? He remembered things, you might think they are small things but they are BIG things! When you connect with people on a real genuine level you remember all those little interactions, those fun memories and he NEVER would let you forget them.  He never let you forget that, you connect with people and then you are part of their lives forever, even if you just see them buy noodles at the grocery store.  We impact people for the rest of our lives by sharing space, memories, commonalities and differences. And they are ALL GOOD!

Drew did everything full throttle including giving compliments, hugs and kisses!  He gave all of his effort in everything he did, you need to do that too! If you are going to do something, why not do it the best you can do? If he liked your sparkly shoes he told you, he did think in his head “I like those sparkly purple shoes” and then went on with his day, he SAID it! If he hugged you he HUGGED YOU! It was his best hug he could give EVERY TIME! He never didn’t squeeze as hard as he could! He jumped high, ran fast, colored and painted with his best efforts.  He tried so hard in school to do his work right and if he had to do it again then he did, and did his BEST to make it better.  Do not hold back when you do something you need to go “Full Cheetah” mode, that doesn’t mean super fast but that means with all you got!

We feel like these are the things that by Drew’s example of his amazingly lived life he wants us to start with.  We/he hopes you have FUN and ENJOY doing these simple but BIG things! Remember to #LoveBIGlikeDrew!
