Events and Rules
We follow the World Aquatics diving rules and age groups.
In th Nordic Light Open we also include novice and pre-master (ages 18-24). We are also happy to include Nordic Light Team Challenge in the program. Unfortunately the facilities doesn't allow synchro diving.
Novices may not perform dives of more than 1.5 rotations or with a FINA tariff over 2.0.
Novices may use the 3m and 5m platforms, but not the 7.5m or 10m platforms.
Dives without rotation (jumps) (Dive No ‘x00’) may not be used. This does not apply to 600A used on 5m as it is a recognized FINA dive.
1 dive many be repeated but at 1.0 tariff

The Nordic Light Team Challenge is a social and entertaining competition designed to bring divers together across clubs, countries and age groups.
Team composition
Team composition
All teams consist of three divers.
Each team must include at least one female and one male diver.
Teams are drawn by lot during the technical meeting before the competition.
Number of dives
Number of dives
Each team performs six dives in total.
Any dive from the official diving list may be used, but the same dive may not be performed twice by the team.
Distribution of dives
Each diver performs two dives.
A diver may not perform two dives from the same height.
Competition format
Competition format
The competition consists of three rounds:
Round 1 – 1 metre
Round 2 – 3 metre
Round 3 – Platform
In each round, the divers from the same team will dive one after another.
