VISION:

MISSION:

– To strengthen the family by supporting husbands and fathers who because of necessity are forced to live apart from their wives and/or children.

– To support the widowers to be Christ-like in coping with being alone in life.

– To give more Christian meaning and excitement to the life of single men.

CFC Servants of the Lord

(SOLD) is one of the family ministries of the COUPLES FOR CHRIST (CFC). It is a community of men who are either young adult, mature single men, separated or divorced, widowers, and even married men. The married men could be husbands of women overseas workers, or are expatriates themselves, or whose spouses for varied reasons are not able to join their husbands and become members of Couples for Christ. CFC SOLD provides a solid, Christian support environment that empowers men to manage their lives according to the examples of Jesus Christ. It is the male counterpart, parallel ministry of the CFC Handmaids of the Lord (the family ministry of Couples for Christ for women).

The entry point to the CFC Servants of the Lord is the Christian Life Program (CLP), an integrated course intended to lead the program participants into a renewed understanding of God’s call to them. It consists of thirteen (13) once-a-week sessions and has three (3) essential components: teaching on Christian topics, a lively group discussion, and a joyful fellowship. After the CLP, CFC SOLD members go through a life-long pastoral formation through regular, weekly household prayer meetings, assemblies, group teachings, training sessions, national and international conferences, enrichment retreats and many more activities directed towards building real men for GOD.

Women can easily share their feelings with their friends. Not so with men, who have the tendency to keep to themselves their emotions. An all-male Christian community like the CFC SOLD brings men a wholesome avenue for expressing themselves and discovering who they really are, as God intended them to be.

The CFC Servants of the Lord community is now in many parts of the world, helping proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Indeed, “True Men of GOD”.

PROGRAMS:

1. Pure SOLD CLP – Community Evangelization Program

Encourages members to conduct exclusive Christian Life Programs for SOLD candidates.

2. Corporate/Government Evangelization

This program is bringing SOLD to the workplace – conducting CLPs for men or facilitating in mixed CLPs and integrating the graduates to their respective sectors.

3. Prison Ministry Program

No one should be deprived of Christ’s salvation, even hardened criminals, and SOLD takes part in the mission to the prisoners by bringing the CLP inside the prison cells and giving them love, peace and hope.

4. Police/Military Program

Peace and order is a man’s job and to achieve that our brothers in uniform must have Christ in their hearts. SOLD is a new breed of men who braves to conduct CLPs in the police and military camps.

6. Gift of Life (Pro-life) Ministry

Conducting Men’s Values Formation, showing the brothers how to become true men of God through the teachings and activities that will attract them to join.
