Conference Policy
The NOPE Network is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion.
We require all conference delegates to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, to ensure a supportive and inclusive conference environment. Any delegates that feel uncomfortable by another person's behaviour during the conference are encouraged to report this in confidence to a member of the conference team or via the conference email address, nopeconference@gmail.com. The conference team retains the right to take appropriate actions in response to harassing behaviour. Any form of harassment is regarded as professional misconduct and will not be tolerated, including but not limited to intimidation, abusive language, unwanted sexual advances and other forms of harassment (whether delivered in person or via digital media). If a delegate fails to immediately comply when asked to stop their harassing behaviour, they will be removed from the conference.
We endorse the guidelines set out by the Inclusive Archaeology project (https://inclusivearchaeology.wordpress.com/), and intend to ensure the conference is accessible for all. If you have any specific concerns or accessibility requirements, please contact the conference team at nopeconference@gmail.com.
