We are a small group of dedicated fosters who are, at the moment, committed to providing for our previously adopted pets who have been returned. The tragedy of rescue is that we cannot count on many homes to be permanent homes, so we are focused on fulfilling our commitment to every pet who has come through our rescue.
We are also working to secure funds to continue our Emergency Community Cat Care program, and funds to provide life-saving vaccines for no cost to thousands of pets in neighboring organizations.
More information coming soon as we launch our new website in 2026.
Snoopy and Little Mister were both originally rescue in 2012. They are now retired at our main foster home and will stay warm and wrapped in blankeys for all their days.
Snoopy was rescued as a feral puppy found by a rancher near the border with the Everglades. While his simblings were adopted, he needed specialized care so he's stayed with us.
Little Mister was rescued originally from Miami Dade Animal Services, and fostered as a puppy. He was adopted in 2012, to what we thought would be a loving home. As too often happens, the adopters did not keep in touch with us, and then in 2019, on Easter weekend, he was dumped, hairless, at the Broward shelter. We of course picked him up right away.
