Terms of Use — Noor: Kuran Widgets & Namaz

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Noor: Kuran Widgets & Namaz ("Noor", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free and premium subscribers. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the App

Noor is an iOS application that provides:

• Daily Quran verse (Ayah of the Day)

• Full Quran reading with translations in 9 languages

• AI-powered Tafsir (verse commentary)

• Daily prayer times (Salah)

• Qibla direction finder

• Tasbih (digital counter)

• Home screen and lock screen widgets

• Prayer time notifications and alarms

• Premium themes and customization

The App is available in free and premium versions. Certain features are restricted to premium subscribers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 4 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

4.1 Premium Plans

Noor offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans:

• Weekly Plan — billed every 7 days

• Monthly Plan — billed every 30 days

• Annual Plan — billed every 365 days

Pricing is displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase within the App.

4.2 Free Trial

If a free trial period is offered, it will be clearly disclosed before purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

4.3 Billing & Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple:
https://reportaproblem.apple.com

We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.

4.5 Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you may restore your premium access by tapping "Restore Purchases" in the App's Premium screen, using the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

4.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will only apply to subscriptions renewed after the change takes effect.

5. AI-Powered Tafsir — Important Disclaimer

The AI Tafsir feature provides Quran verse commentary generated by Google Gemini, an artificial intelligence system.

Please read the following carefully:

• AI Tafsir content is generated by an AI model and is intended for general informational and educational purposes only

• This content does not constitute official Islamic scholarship, a fatwa, or a religious ruling

• AI-generated commentary may contain errors, inaccuracies, or oversimplifications

• The Tafsir feature should not be used as a sole or authoritative source for religious guidance

• For religious matters, always consult qualified Islamic scholars and authoritative sources

• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated tafsir content

By using the AI Tafsir feature, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

6. Prayer Times — Accuracy Disclaimer

Prayer times provided by the App are calculated approximations based on your location and a selected calculation method (e.g., Diyanet).

• Prayer times may differ from those announced by your local mosque or religious authority

• The App is not responsible for inaccuracies in prayer time calculations

• Always verify prayer times with your local mosque for religious obligations

• Times may be affected by geographical anomalies, daylight saving time, or network errors

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 App Content

All original content, design, graphics, user interface, and source code of Noor are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

7.2 Quran Text & Translations

The Quran text and translations provided within the App are sourced from Alquran.cloud and their respective publishers and translators. All rights to these translations belong to their respective owners. Noor uses these translations under their terms of use for non-commercial, educational purposes.

7.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's original content without our prior written consent

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

• Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the App

• Use automated tools to access or scrape content from the App

• Use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services including:

• RevenueCat — subscription management

• Google Gemini API — AI commentary generation

• Aladhan.com — prayer time calculations

• Alquran.cloud — Quran text and translations

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

• Accuracy or completeness of content, including prayer times, AI tafsir, or translations

• Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions

We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific religious, spiritual, or scholarly requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill

• Damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated tafsir or prayer time calculations

• Service interruptions due to network failures, server downtime, or third-party service disruptions

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Availability & Updates

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice

• We may update the App from time to time. Updates may be required to continue using certain features

• We are not obligated to provide any specific features or maintain backward compatibility

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Turkey.

15. Apple — Additional Terms

As the App is distributed through the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content

• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App

• In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, Apple's terms shall govern

• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. If changes are material, we will notify you through the App or via the App Store update notes. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance.
