Week 1
Hot air balloon is a craft that used Charles's law. The basis of how the balloon works is that warmer air rises in cooler air. This is because hot air is lighter than cool air as it has less mass per unit of volume. Mass can be defined by the measure of how much matter something contains.
Week 2 :
The material I used in the video is plastic, debris from a drink box, candles, skewers, tape, and scissor .
In this video, my hot air balloon does not flying because the pressure in the plastic is low and the pressure in the environment is high causing the plastic to shrink.

week 3
The material I used in this video is plastic that different thickness and sizes from the last video and I just combine my base from the last video that made of skewers and debris that I cut from the drink box.
My hot air balloon does not flying and my theory for this video is the volume in the plastic is too low because I used only one candle and it cannot unable to accommodate the size of the plastic. It causing that the plastic does not expand.
week 4
For week 4 the material I used plastic, skewers, cardboard, candle. Using cardboard as the base to put the candle in the middle, the straw as a support for the cardboard.
Upon observation, the balloon does not fly and the plastic began to shrink. By using Charles Law formula as base I theorize the amount of gas inside the plastic is not high enough as the candle cannot supply enough air to increase the pressure inside the plastic.
As the candle is small and does not have enough energy or heat to produce enough heat inside the plastic thus making the inside the plastic not reaching it minimum level of pressure, the plastic bag does not fly.
week 5
The materials used this week are The materials used this week are the same as the one on week 4. The different is the used of stick instead of straw as the base.
Upon observing, sadly the hot air balloon does not fly. The plastic expand but it does not move and stay static.
Base on the observation I can said the straw is a better option as the base as it much more lighter than the stick.
week 6
The design that i made for this week are the same as the one on week 4 and 5. The different is the straws are tied end to end at the bottom of the plastic.
The reason why I choose to use straw for this hot air balloon because the straw is more lighter than stick.
week 7
For this week, I continue making my hot Air balloon that from week 6. (part 2)
week 8
Base on the observation, this week the hot air balloon expand and shaking but does not fly.
The theory is the weight at the bottom is to heavy making the hot air balloon cannot fly because the pressure inside the plastic is not high enough to carry the weight.
week 9
In this video, I choose to use paper wax to make a shape as wish lantern and I use fuel like kerosene.
Fortunately, it was a success.
