Learning Diary 

Introduction:

ICT can lead to improved student learning and better teaching methods. ICT classes are very useful and essential to any teacher all information I learned is new and important to me. 

Class1: 

In this class, I learned how to make verification, change passwords, and recover Gmail which is important to protect my email. Then we went to Google and I learned more about how to use Google (Docs, Sheets, and Drive) which helps us to share, add modified and copy links of information by using Google (Doc, Sheets and Drive). All the information I learned in this class was new to me. Everything was clear to me in this class and it is essential for teachers. 

Class2:

In this class, I learned how to use Google Slides and the best presentation tips to prepare effective presentations with an audience. Also, I learned how to do Google Meet, how we can make it within schedule and become the host, and how we can change the option of meeting when being the host. We learned how to create a YouTube channel how to upload videos and how to share it with others and finally, I learned more about Google Jam Board, which is the electronic board used for brainstorming. Most of this was new to me and so important for teachers.

Class3:

I learned how to use Zoom meetings and make them scheduled and share them with others, The host can lead the meeting and make modifications also the criteria required from the teacher when doing zoom meetings. Some important should be considered when making an effective presentation such as contrast color, short text, visual aids, and proper font. All the information was useful and important. All information was clear and essential.

Class4:

In this class, I learned how to do Google site, add pages and subpages, add tests, YouTube videos, and social links. Google site is very useful for organizing information about a company or person like a teacher to share lectures, and text with students. I have never used it before it so is essential to know how to use it. 

Class5:

Kahoot is a quick game that can be shared with students, it is new for me, we can make accounts and add questions (different types), and sharing the code with students is important as a quick game and quiz. 

Padlet is a bulletin board into a rich media platform, enhancing classroom collaboration. It is a very useful platform for engaging the students with others and teachers, it is important for all teachers.

Class6: 

In this class, I learned how to use Google Forms for surveys, and quizzes. I learned how to create Google Scholar and ResearchGate accounts add an email for verification and add a profile photo and research papers and thesis. Most of the information I learned in this class was useful for any researcher.  

Class7: 

We worked as a group to prepare a presentation about what is artificial intelligence. What do you think AI can change future education? Why should be taught in school? We built our idea (outline of presentation) each one worked with his part. It was a good experience to see our weak points during presenting lecture, the way of presentation, and body language. 

Class8:

In this class, I learned a lot of information about the LFU system how to add folders, assignments, and quizzes, modify settings, and add grades to assignments. All the information was new to me and it is important for any teacher. 

Summary:

ICT classes are so important and I learned a lot of information. All the things I learned and studied I will use it when I will teach students prepare lectures and make quizzes and assignments.
