You can easily buy a pass for the tram at any stop (0.30€ for the pass + 1.40€ per travel), or you can pay with a contactless bank card once onboard (2.00€ per travel).
Accommodation should be booked by each participant at their own convenience. One can find many hotels around the tram network or in the city centre.
Note that if you stay around the city centre, the campus is within walking distance of 30-40 minutes.
You can easily reach Dijon by direct train from Paris, Lyon, and Montpellier (FR), Lausanne and Zürich (CH), or Luxembourg (LU). You can consult https://www.sncf-connect.com/ to see routes and tickets.
(Small warnings: in France, a ticket for a high-speed train "TGV" is only valid for the specific time of booking, while any slower train "TER" can be taken on the day indicated on the ticket. E.g.. Paris-Dijon takes 1h40 by TGV and 3h00 by TER. Also, if you need to change from one train station to another in Paris, you are advised to leave 1.5 hours to make your change. Between a train station and an airport, it is better to leave 2 hours.)
