OLYMPIC: A Modular, Tendon-Driven Prosthetic Hand With Novel Finger and Wrist Coupling Mechanisms

The OperationalLY Modular ProsthetIC (OLYMPIC) Hand is a low-cost, 3D printed, fully modular prosthetic hand. Each finger can be detached without any tools, either for maintenance purposes or for replacement with another mechanical device.

All design files required to manufacture your own OLYMPIC hand can be found below.

Please note that working knowledge of 3D printing, silicone moulding, and electronics are needed to manufacture the OLYMPIC Hand. The following materials have been used for printing and moulding:

3D printing material: PETG preferred (better if any motor gets warm), PLA acceptable
Silicone moulding material: Ecoflex 00-30

Other materials may also work.
