Lila Crotty and Kate Fukawa-Connelly welcome you to the Crescent City Cup Scrabble tournament! "The Crescent City" is one of New Orleans' oldest nicknames, derived from the shape that the city took as it expanded outward from the French Quarter, following the curve of the Mississippi River.
