About Me

My Experience

Of the plethora of experiences I've had during my undergraduate career, most notably I was a writing tutor, a humanities fellow, an editor of a literary magazine, and a media assistant. My studies in creative writing have brought me much joy, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to experience as much that UMaine could offer me.

My psychology degree is a reach towards a previous life in which I wanted to be a music therapist, of which there are still remnants lingering to this day. For example I've been a part of the University of Maine Singers since my first year, and my passion for music performance has only hardened with time.

I also consider myself an ecofeminist, and try everyday to align my actions with my values by participating in climate activism and sharing those important conversations. My minor in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies has helped me become more thoughtful and observant in this regard, and allowed me to learn more about the systems we live under.

My Goals

I hope to inspire people with my writing, and use my skills to bring awareness to social and global issues, like the climate crisis. I am dedicated to helping solve these problems through the creative process of writing.
