The new licensing agreement, announced on Thursday, will see Opera mini become Nokia feature phones' browser of choice. It will also more than compensate for Opera's lost role as the default browser on Nokia's abandoned range of Android-based Nokia X phones, as at least before Nokia handed its devices business to Microsoft, it was still shipping a lot more feature phones than smartphones.
It is worthy of note that many of the complaints about the N97 were solved with the latest version of its software (v.22.0.110, released on 11 June 2010), while latest firmware for N97 mini is v.30.004 dated 16 June 2011.

My Nokia 215 will not connect to the Internet or Facebook. It comes up with error. I have two pay and go sims in the phone which allow me to use the Internet. Any ideas how to solve this please. I used at least 4 hours today to test some of the most famous mobile browsers / emulators and can conform that mobile Safari and Opera can't use editor properly with any mobile model or mobile operating system I tested - these browsers simply can't use contentEditable. You can test mobile opera online with Opera Mini Simulator - a live demo of Opera Mini 5 that functions as it would when installed on a handset in . Buttons are shown as expected but you can't use selection etc which makes modifying of content impossible. Therefore a better option is to render plain textarea and Opera has a cool keyboard for that purpose...
