Information Collection and Use

Noise Tracker App is dedicated to the evaluation of the noise environment, within a scientific context. Consequently, all the collected data are used for this purpose.

Audio recording:

The Application uses the microphone to read noise levels. There is no audio-recording, nor speech recognition nor any method of obtaining any information about the User or the surrounding discussions.

Geo-localization:

The Application may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine the noise measurement location. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services in your mobile phone settings.

Personal Data

Personal data means personally identifiable information that specifically identifies you as an individual (e.g. your name, email address). We do not collect any personal information about you.

Non-personal Data

Non-personal data is information that does not identify you personally. We may collect non-personal data such as your device model, operating system version, country code, and other attributes.

Children

We understand the importance of taking extra precautions when using our products and services to protect children's privacy and safety. We do not collect, use or disclose personal information about children.

The Noise Tracker Pro application's ownership belongs to the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur, India. I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data

We disclose information to respond to subpoenas, court orders and other legal processes as well as to establish/exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We will share Personal data and Non-personal data in order to investigate, prevent or take action against illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use or as otherwise required by law.
