By installing and using the application, you agree to this Privacy Policy and provide informed consent for the processing of data as described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.  

Information Collection and Use 

Noise Tracker App is designed for measuring and evaluating environmental noise levels for scientific and informational purposes. The collected sound data is used solely for: 

• Displaying real-time noise levels 

• Evaluating environmental noise conditions 

• Providing compliance or reference information to the user. 

Audio Data (Microphone Access): 

The application requires access to the device microphone to measure ambient sound levels. It processes sound level measurements (in dB) and calculates noise exposure values, which may be considered health-related data as they can be used to assess potential hearing exposure. This data is used solely to display real-time noise levels, evaluate environmental noise conditions, and provide compliance or reference information to the user. 

Location Data (Optional): 

The application may use location services (GPS) to determine the location of noise measurements. Location access is optional and controlled by the user. Users can disable location services at any time through device settings 

Personal Data 

Personal Data refers to information that identifies an individual (e.g., name, email address). 

👉 We do not collect any Personal Data. 

Non-personal Data 

The application may collect limited non-personal technical data, such as: Device model, Operating system version, Country code. This data does not identify the user. 

Network connection information 

Network access, if used, is limited to App functionality, Optional updates or internal operations. The Application may send noise meter app information to a remote server. This requires information concerning the available network connections. If you don't want the Application to use a network connection, or if you want to select the internet connection to use, you should turn off or select the corresponding services in the Application settings or in your mobile phone settings. The application does not share, sell, or transfer any personal or health data to third parties.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by me. Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. 

Children’s Privacy 

The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Users under 18 should use the app under parental guidance. 

Data Deletion 

Users have full control over their data, including the ability to delete any stored data directly within the app (if applicable), clear all app data through their device settings, and ensure that all locally stored data is permanently removed upon uninstalling the application.  

User control 

Users have full control over data collection and can stop it at any time by closing the application. Additionally, users can disable microphone and location permissions whenever they choose through their device settings. 

Changes to This Privacy Policy 

This policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted within the application or on the app listing. 

Third-Party Services 

The application does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. 

Legal Disclosure 

We may disclose information if required to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests by public authorities, or protect our rights, ensure safety, and prevent fraud.
