Popularization of Mathematics:
Bridging the gap between abstract concepts and real-world applications through storytelling and innovative teaching methods.
Read my text about: Marie Curie (for Marie Curie's bicentenary)
Read my text about Emmy Noether for the Max Planck Society.
Can optical art (OP art) relieve or cure certain mental illnesses?
This is the question that aroused the curiosity of the artist Youri Messen-Jaschin, since he noticed symptoms - such as dizziness, migraines or seasickness - produced by his works on some people.
A scientific approach is given to this phenomenon, including a collaboration with Prof. Bogdan Draganski (Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois, Lausanne), Prof. Sigita Cinciute (University of Vilnius) Noemie Combe (Max Planck Institute for Maths in Sciences) for a scientific interpretation on OP Art and its impact.
All of this is described in our best seller book !
