Hi, I am Noemie Combe. I am a researcher and professor of Mathematics for the De Vinci Research Center/ De Vinci Higher Education (Paris/Montpellier). I have a passion for unraveling the intricate structures of mathematics and sharing its beauty through teaching and outreach. As the close collaborator of Yuri Manin, I carry forward his intellectual legacy with innovative contributions that continue to shape the field.
My research includes:
geometry / algebraic structures, algebraic geometry,
number theory (Grothendieck--Teichmüller/ motivic Galois group)
their applications to theoretical computer science and
quantum/classical information geometry.
SHORT BIO.
🌟Since 2023: part of the international French--Japanese Research Network
"Arithmetic Homotopic Galois Theory".
🌟 2023-2025: Group Leader of the Polonez Bis 3 programme—funded by Horizon 2020 🇪🇺 and Marie Klodowska Curie Actions —at the University of Warsaw.
🏆5 years of my research supported by the Max Planck Society
(at first as a post doc + later Minerva Group Leader).
📘📘📘I earned my degrees from the University of Geneva, and completed my PhD at the University of Aix—Marseille+ Sorbonne University (Paris 6, France), where I deepened my expertise in mathematics.
