The Mayor of Noctora City has stated that the city is growing and living up to his expectations. Ahead of a meeting with the President of Noctora, the mayor delivered his remarks to the NNC. "I [The Mayor] see a future for this city that is beginning with downtown construction." The mayor explains his plans for the city, and plans to reveal a revised map to the public in the coming weeks.+

In a press statement Monday, the Noctoran Transit Committee named ICantSeeThat as the new chief of the committee. The Noctoran News Channel awaits his first press conference. Stay tuned to the NNC for updates. In the meantime, the new chief has announced plans to construct the Packer Street Line almost immediately, and has already implemented two new stations.

In a surprise unveiling, the Noctoran News Channel has officially gone public with their new studio. According to the Supervising Production Officer at the NNC, Noctorans can expect to see daily news bulletins as well as coverage of important events on a city and global scale. The news channel claims that they will always be the only source of unbiased news in Noctora, and promise to deliver.

The Noctoran Transit Committee has begun construction on the long-anticipated Route 23 Freeway. The proposed design was approved last year by the Municipal Planning Committee, who cited a need for better infrastructure to redirect commuters heading downtown away from the already busy Queen Street East. It will reach all the way to midtown, from Yonge Street Eastward.

The Noctoran Transit Committee has approved plans to build new metro stations in the greater Downtown Noctora area. A new line, dubbed the "Packer Street line" by the NTC, is approved and will connect to the Yonge and Main Street lines along Packer Street, and will have its main station based at Manzanita Square.

In a press briefing Sunday, the Noctoran Government's Municipal Planning Committee informed us of plans to build more along the town's Main Street South. The city is hiring external contractors to populate Noctora's biggest street with new buildings, and construction has begun already at the intersection of Queen Street West and Main Street South.

In an interview with the NNC, the mayor of Noctora and members of the Noctoran legislature stated that the increased amount of construction in the city was a good sign. Among other things, the mayor cited that "An increase in construction will bring, not only new buildings, but an increase in jobs as well."
