You are worth remembering.
Two souls aimlessly wander in a melancholy afterlife, lamenting the separation they experienced in their past life before reincarnating into the next life. The future ahead presents the unsettling truth of forgetting each other once they pass through the Veil of Amnesia.
Director's Statement:
"I was fascinated with the concept of the Veil of Amnesia, the barrier that all souls pass through to forget past life memories before reincarnation. Oftentimes, the only strings that thread themselves through the Veil of Amnesia and onto eternity are the soul connections we have with special people in our lives. Although I’d written the song and conceptualized the music video with a broken heart, I wanted to create a piece that honored the strength of a love that has crossed over many lifetimes.
Having bonded over a similar heartbreak, my dear friend and singer-songwriter Rob Racine was the only person I wanted to share this song with before it became a project. He wrote his own verse and eventually shared the screen with me as the Divine Masculine to my Divine Feminine. Cinematographer A.J. Marson and I then recruited a group of some of the best filmmakers in the Bay Area to bring to you what is now my directorial debut. We all hope you enjoy the world we’ve created for this existential narrative."

Director's Statement:
"DIRTY DANCE HEARTBREAK" is an 80s style ballad of betrayal, broken glass, and disco balls framed by a mental-health narrative. Anger, grief, and remorse mixes with explosive destruction, leading towards a possible future of accountability and healing."
