I served as the lead electrical expert for wiring a 750 sq-ft modular home, designed as an accessory dwelling unit (ADU). This home was built specifically for display at the Orange County Sustainable Decathlon. A key challenge I faced was that the ADU needed to be disassembled and reassembled three times—once for transportation to the competition, and twice more for its final relocation. This required careful planning and execution to ensure the electrical systems remained safe, functional, and code-compliant throughout each transition.
