RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Student Teacher, Inglemoor High School, Kenmore WA, Aug 2021 - Present
Was responsible for curriculum planning and leading instruction for 3 Pre-IB and 2 AP world history classes in accordance with WA state social studies standards.
Each of these classes had between 27 - 38 students. All Freshmen. In order to best provide for
these students I emphasized building relationships between these students as well as their
parents early on in the school year.
Experience working one on one with students with IEPs, as well as leading the whole class while making adjustments for students with Behavior Intervention Plans.
These classes had many multilingual learners. I was able to provide these students proper scaffolding to ensure that they could fully participate in the class while striving for equitable learning outcomes.
In my curriculum planning I strive for a focus on creating dynamic and culturally responsive units. For each unit I ensure that we cover the necessary content while engaging in social emotional learning.
