Noah McKinnie Braun
Welcome! I am a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Institute for Freedom and Community and a visiting assistant professor of economics at St Olaf College. I will be on the job market in the fall of 2025.
I am an applied microeconomist who researches questions related to public economics, urban economics, and political economy. My current research studies the impact of the Shelby County v. Holder ruling on government finance and public policy. I also study voting rights and the provision of public goods by local government across segregated communities, with a focus on education, housing, and criminal justice policies.
