About Me

My name is Noah Amidon, and I am a Senior at Oxford High School. This is my first year on staff at theCharger, however I learn quickly and currently serve as the opinions editor for the 2022-2023 staff. Additionally I currently work on curating the website for theCharger as well as photographing various events in our school and community. My work on theCharger has helped me develop my argumentative writing, and has helped me learn to work with others in order to meet a deadline. In the fall I plan on attending Dartmouth College majoring in Government with minors in International Studies and Journalism (potentially writing for "The Dartmouth," the oldest college newspaper in America). Before I joined theCharger I had little interest in journalism (I thought I was just joining another elective to fill a spot in my schedule), however after getting to share my thoughts and views about the world through a journalistic medium I have completely changed my outlook on journalism in my future. I am now much more interested in pursuing a career in journalism, whether that be as a war correspondent, or as a writer for a major news outlet, theCharger has given me a new passion for sharing information that I otherwise wouldn't have known.
