Payday2 is genuinely one of my favorite games, mostly of how not only addictive it is, but also how stupid it can be. There is just such a wide variety of maps, heisters, guns, skills, everything that it never really gets boring. Mods further bring out the craziness of the game and allow it to customize it beyond what probably should be possible.
Overall a calming and wholesome game, with a surprising amount of depth and content to it. The modding scene is less developed than others but there's still some experiences to be had with it.
Stardew Valley is definitely one of the most addictive games, and righteously so. The game, made only by one person by the way, is a personal adventure that is just overloaded with charm, from both the worlds and especially the characters. Mods also let you expand upon the already extensive gameplay it provides.
