The Themed Entertainment Creative Academy
Ever since enrolling in six-week workshops under the Themed Entertainment Creative Academy, I've grown as a designer. I never had the opportunity to learn under professionals in the industry. I’ve met so many creative and thoughtful people who continue to make this journey special and worthwhile. Their willingness to engage with the new generation of designers is one of my favorite aspects of this profession. They are truly the best in what this business has to offer and inspire countless stories for guests to experience for decades.
Concept Art (Fall 2020)
Under the careful eye of concept artist, Marcel Santos; this course focuses on bringing concepts from the blue-sky phase and making them jump to life in our art. Theme parks require detailed visual representations to define the creative visions of attractions. The emphasis of this course will delve into Photoshop digital renderings and drawing techniques to tell their stories. Using creative thought processes and advanced rendering methods, students will gain the necessary skills to help enthrall theme park attendees in their high concepts.
