Does recruiting want help in locations where there are limited NOAA personnel/offices? Interviews or other?
Possibly. Recruiting was interested in the idea, mainly for fairs more so than interviews (many interviews are virtual now anyway).
Would CPC want/need help at a NOAA Corps officers' funeral (especially in a site with limited NOAA presence)?
Very likely. We'll continue to work with CPC on this.
can we add "interest in joining NOAA Benchmarks" to the retirement address questionnaire/submission?
Yes. The website and link to the Directory will be added to the address form.
Can (how do) we get retirement pins?
CPC is creating a new one (the template for the old one is long gone). To get one of the new pins, send an email to "chief.personnelmgmt.cpc@noaa.gov" with "New NOAA Corps Retired Pin" as the subject. Please note, it may be a few months.
Who can we contact (or can contact us to get word out?) for updates to NDAA or other legislation that might impact retirees?
