Description: Review of previously approved installation of two (2) new dormers at front street-facing roof slope and installation of new rear gable at an existing Contributing rated 1½-story, two-family residential building.
Previous ARC Recommendations:
09/27/2016: The ARC recommended conceptual approval with the details to be worked out at the Staff level. The ARC also agreed the proposed dormers appear too ‘square’. They recommend removing the pilaster detail(s) and framing the dormer(s) on the flat to reduce the overall width of the dormers to that of the casing as drawn.
08/16/2016: Due to the roof pitch and proposed scale of the dormers, the ARC agreed the proposed dormers were inappropriate and recommended denial of the application.
