Description: Massing changes to previously approved new construction of a two-story, single-family residential building on a vacant lot. 

Previous ARC & Commission Actions:

10/06/21: The Commission voted to grant conceptual approval with the details to be worked out at Staff level and approved the demolition of the existing Non-Contributing rated building.

09/21/21: The ARC voted to recommend conceptual approval with the details to be worked out at Staff level, with the following recommendations:

• The front porch should be at least 4’ deep.

• Door hardware and light fixtures should be simple and appropriate for the style.

• The front door should be centered on the landing.

• Explore material condition of left balcony wall, as the siding will only be 6” across and will be difficult to articulate. 

08/17/21: The ARC voted to defer the application to give the applicant time to include 3D renderings of the proposal. The ARC recommended including details of the materials and how the edges of the inset balconies will be resolved. The ARC recommended pairing the front door and adjacent window.

08/04/21: The Commission voted to grant conceptual approval of the massing with the details to be worked out at ARC level.

07/20/21: The ARC voted to recommend conceptual approval of the massing with details to be worked out at the ARC level.
