"Flowers Made From Wool" is out now! You can listen to the entire album on YouTube below, but it's also available on streaming services and Bandcamp (where it's a free download with some bonuses)!
The CD for "who knows what you deserve" is still in stock at Retrac Recordings! Get it while its hot so you can sell it for a ridiculously inflated price if I get popular... or you could get it because you liked the album, that's cool, too.
Features the album on a full color inkjet-printed CDr, housed in a plastic sleeve with cardstock inners.
[Who Knows What You Deserve] has such a distinct sound and mood despite, on the surface, sounding much like throwaway, minute-long "breakcore" tracks that get recommended to me on Spotify. However, it’s #303030’s clever variations and usages of these formulas that keep WKWYD interesting and heartfelt throughout its runtime. I mean these songs go on for up to 5-6 minutes, actually get noisy, use jazz samples, and include these strained, chopped screams that totally kick ass, all the while they also set up the perfect expression of anger, grief, and learning how to heal from past trauma. The breaks are almost always smudged spectrally, drowning in the other layers of the song, but they’re constantly firing away at max speed, making for this sort of hypnagogic feel that I think breakcore artists should dip their toes into. - Retrac Recordings
