National Night Out Planned for Monday, August 4, 2025
for the Roslindale-West Roxbury Communities
National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
This year's local event for the Roslindale and West Roxbury communities, is being organized in cooperation with the Boston Police District E-5, Trinity Management (Washington-Beech Apartments), the YMCA of Boston, as well as other local volunteers and sponsors.
This year's NNO will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Washington-Beech Apartments at 4560 Washington St. in Roslindale. The event will run from about 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and will include music, entertainment, food, and fun things to do. There will be info tables from area interests for questions and connections. Earlier in the day, Washington-Beech Apartments will observe their annual Unity Day Celebration.
During this event the streets within the apartment complex will be closed to all traffic.
Mayor Michelle Wu, accompanied by city and state officials will arrive between 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM (time approximate TBA) to address the event followed by the presentation of community recognition awards to local residents. People are encouraged to stop in, meet and greet your neighbors, and have some family fun. This is a rain or shine event.
