"COMAP'S High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling (HiMCM) is an international contest designed to provide high school students with the opportunity to work as team members to engage and improve their modeling, problem-solving, and writing skills."

Teams who received Meritorious and above on the HiMCM are qualified and invited to attend the IMMC.

MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge (M3 Challenge) is a free contest for high school juniors and seniors in the U.S. and sixth form students in England and Wales. The Challenge is entirely Internet-based with no registration or participation fees. Scholarships totaling $100,000 (>£75,000) are awarded annually.
