Economics professor and senior researcher at GHE2 (Global Health Econometrics and Economics Group).Visiting scholar at Universidatd Pompeu Fabra (UPF/Barcelona, Mar/2012–Feb/2013) and Universidad Carlos III (UC3M/Madrid, Dec/2009–Feb/2010). My research interests are policy evaluation, health economics, poverty, cash-transfer programs, gender and labour economics. International experiences include projects in the United States (Yale Economic Growth Center) and Spain (Universitat de Girona/ UdG). I was a member of international project funding by NIHR on Health Financing for UHC with the University of York and partners from India, Indonesia, South Africa (HFACT project).
