My debut EP will be released in February and features four songs namely Fine Girl, Jangulova, Lonely Soul, Jowo (Remix) and African Vive. The EP is titled African Moodscape. My EP contains the following tracks: Lonely Soul, Jowo, Jangulova, Fine Girl and African Vive. In the term "African Moodscape", "Moodscapes" is a portmanteau of "mood" and "landscapes." In this context, I use it to describe my music as evoking and exploring a range of emotions or moods. Just as landscapes can vary in scenery and atmosphere, a "moodscape" in this sense suggests a diverse and emotive sonic experience that takes my fans through different feelings or states of mind from loneliness, to love, to forgiveness, romance and the dance.
Therefore, African Moodscape as the title of the EP signifies the cultural and dynamic touch that comes with the album, implying a celebration of emotions and life influenced by African themes. It signifies a melodic journey filled with lively rhythms, heartfelt emotions, romance, dance with a distinct cultural resonance. The combination captures the essence of my music, blending the personal and societal elements expressed in the lyrics of Jowo, Fine Girl, Lonely Soul and Jangulova. African Moodscape as the title of your album suggests a rich and diverse emotional landscape influenced by African themes. The term "Moodscape" combines "mood" with "landscape," conveying a sense of the varied emotions and atmospheres explored in your songs.
