About Me
Hello. I am Nasirul Mumenin. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). Previously, I was a lecturer in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) at the Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) from 1 December 2021 to 30 June 2024. I have completed both my Master's Degree (MSc) and Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) from Bangladesh University of Professionals. My research interest lies in applications of Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning, Deep Learning), Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Computer Security, and Quantum Computing (Quantum Machine Learning). I have completed both my MSc and BSc thesis under the supervision of Dr Mohammad Abu Yousuf. My MSc thesis was on applying computer vision to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder, and my BSc thesis was on the semantic analysis of Bengali sentences. I love to collaborate with others working in the relevent field. I have collaboratively worked with many researchers. My current projects are on the utilization of Machine learning in Health Informatics (Mental Health) and the development of reliable and transparent ML-based systems for the diagnosis and prognosis of diseases. I received funding from BAUET to conduct this research.
