For my emerging technology presentation I chose the topic of AI. Ai is a cutting-edge technology that simulates intelligent behavior. Due to its ability to automate tasks, analyze and process data, and learn from experiences it is leading to healthcare and finance advances.
Pros: Ai helps people streamline tasks, increase productivity, and get results more quickly and accurately.
Cons: May result in job displacement, has biased algorithms, and as it is rolled out on a larger scale there will need to be careful and responsible implementation.
