The reason we have chosen only digital skills for the boot camp are four-fold:
Digital skills are a must to acquire for everyone in today's world - even if you are not interested in technology per se. It will provide you with broad exposure to several digital technologies & their applications, which you may be able to use to your advantage in your studies (as a student) or in your job (as a teacher).
Digital skills can be acquired with only a computer and internet connection at home, as opposed to needing physical resource materials to acquire other types of skills. This makes it easier for everyone during the prevailing Pandemic.
It is also easier to convert digital skills into digital products without much effort, unlike physical products that require significant refinements, manufacturing, and high capital investment.
With digital skills, it becomes easy for the bootcamp facilitator to evaluate students' learning outcomes, especially since the bootcamp is being offered online.
Participants are required to take an online quiz and submit an assignment after acquiring each skill in order to be eligible for certificates, awards and prizes.
