Welcome to the homepage of the Quantum Materials Group at the Physics Department of Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi NCR, India.
We synthesise new materials that can host exotic quantum states and employ muon spin rotation/relaxation (µSR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to investigate the microscopic static and dynamic properties of these complex Strongly Correlated Electron Systems.
Focus areas:
Topological quantum materials, quantum spin liquid, frustrated systems, ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic quantum criticality, pressure/magnetic-field tuning of the ground states, superconductivity, low-dimensional spin systems, heavy fermion systems.
