Who can join the NMHS PTSA?
Everyone! NMHS students, parents/guardians, friends/family, anyone in the community who wishes to support our nonprofit organization can become a member of the NMHS PTSA. Our goal this year is to register 200 members. Help us reach that goal!
Annual membership dues are $16. There are multiple ways to become a member:
Option 1: Visit PTA Totem website to register and pay membership dues online. Totem accepts payment via credit card or debit card.
Option 2: Visit the NMHS office and request an NMHS PTSA membership envelope. Complete the envelope and include cash or check (made out to NMHS PTSA) and ask the office staff to place the envelope in the PTSA mailbox.
Option 3: Attend a PTSA meeting and join in person.
Why join the NMHS PTSA?
Students are encouraged to join the PTSA each year of their high school career. By joining, students can do the following:
Help make a positive impact to the NMHS community
Ensure events & programs reflect students' interests
Gain leadership, advocacy, public speaking, teamwork and event planning experience
Earn community service hours
Participate in PTSA-sponsored programs (e.g. reflections art program, Senior Scholarships)
Parents, guardians and other family members are encouraged to join the PTSA in order to do the following:
Help make a positive impact to the NMHS community
Gain access to administrative staff to share concerns and ask questions
Gain leadership, advocacy, public speaking, teamwork and event planning experience
Meet new people and make long-lasting friendships
