Winnie's Roadhouse
At one time, this location was occupied by Peter Lindsay's General Store, but the structure burned down in 1915. The reason this fire was confined to one building was due to the new water system installed in 1912.
Bruce McLeod, nephew of the first Parkhill Reeve Simon McLeod, purchased the empty lot in 1951, and he and other local investors built the Fox Theatre.
The theatre was soon transformed into a bowling alley, which remained for many years. The building was later transformed into a restaurant, and was occupied by Niko's Restaurant for many years.
In 2025, Niko's Restaurant closed. The space is now occupied by Winnie's Roadhouse.
